Share the Gift of Reading
Since 1989, the Champaign County Literacy Council has sought to empower Champaign County's functionally illiterate adults - those who read at or below the fifth grade level. By pairing adult learners with trained adult tutors, learners discover how literacy changes and improves life.

Studies estimate 20%of Champaign County adults, approximately 1 in 5 people, struggle to read. Click Here For More Statistics
